Wow, Its been all G-O from the start this year folks.

So many new things to talk about.

Ok firstly, Road Nationals was a historical marker in Australian cycling seeing GreenEDGE Australia’s only and first PRO-Tour TDF team launching its assult on the Nationals course seeing domination and some great results.

Mr OZRIDERS – James Maebus will be heading to SA next week to mechanic alongside James Nitis Jayco AIS head mechanic, in the UNISA Tour down under cycling team. This is a massive opportunity and James is really excited to offer his services to such an elite field of riders – Who knows we may even see some of the UNISA riders using some OZRIDERS Stealth bar tape during the TDU. Add “OZRIDERSAust” on Facebook to see some great inside goss and behind the sceens at TDU as he will be rubbing shoulders with the best in Australia.

OZRIDERS will also be testing some new bling wheels this year with the hopes to introduce into our range. Currently we can get the below build of a 29er 15mm thru axel wheel set down to about 1400 grams. Which aint too bad for a 29er wheel set!

Andy Blair WINS National Rnd #1 Perth

Andrew Blair, aka Blairy has been a long time supporter of OZRIDERS. Over the past few years he has really shown his world class talent travelling the world to race the XCO world cups and even racing the World Championships only a few small notes in his resume. He has really hit the ground running for this years 2011 /2012 XCO MTBA National series. Some local riders report they have “never seen him this fast!!” Blairy has a strong DH background and so was like a kid in a candy store when racing the “fun” techy Perth trails. Andrew chooses to use OZRIDERS 125mm Black High density foamies, and SPEX tubeless tyre sealant.

It’s finally here!!!

I can tell you it is THE best kit you can buy!!!

This cycling kit has been custom designed from the ground up, it is 100% made in Italy from Marcello Bergamo – who make their own high tech Lycra in house! These guys are also trading under another brand which is already well respected in Australia – *Cough Cough… CAPO Forma.

The Jerseys feature full-length quality zips, high tech lightweight Lycra and light mesh side panels to increase airflow and ventilation. The Jerseys are a TREK Leopard / Retro inspiration in design with amazing colors and finish.

Knicks are of course full Bib and brace – with mesh upper for added comfort / ventilation, the cut is like a glove! The legs use compression rather than the “old” silicon grippers under the legs, Chamois is of course the main thing and we use only the best on offer for these custom clothing.

Full-length jerseys are also available which include a light fleece inside with some very nice technical Lycra in use here too!

Lastly we have light wind vests on offer, which are perfect in finish and include a full mesh rear panel to increase heat dispersion.

OZRIDERS Cycling kit only weeks away!

Its been a long time coming – but we are due to see the first of our exclusive OZRIDERS Cycling kit.

Cycling kit is always a loaded question – when it comes to what brand is the “Best” to use. After much research and discussion it was decided to use a little know manufacture to all of those of us in Australia called Marcello Bergamo (aka CAPO cycling clothing). Marcello Bergamo has a very long history in cycling clothing and from what we have seen the quality is second to none.

The beautiful thing about their clothing is that they actually manufacture all of there own materials in house and so you will not only be guarenteed quality but the use of some amazing lycra’s that you wont see on every day cycling kits. Anne Symes ripping up the Enduro scene!

Enter Anne Symes. This young lady has really been catching peoples eye in the past year. Anne is more an Endurance based diesel engine that just goes and goes! She has recently been lucky enough to join the Kona Australia MTB Enduro team rubbing shoulders with the big man himself Andy Bell. She has a sweet mug shot below in the introduction of the Australian 24hr Championships in Canberra. She is also happily supported by OZRIDERS exclusively riding our 125mm Hexagonal ergo MTB grips on all of her rides. With her view on our products is she loves them! Perfect for even the harshest Enduro events.

New OZRIDERS kit in the works!

Its been a long time coming, but its about time OZRIDERS introduced some sweet ass kit, Which is not only practical and stylish, but can easily be used for the Mountain biker in you – Or the Pro Road rider look you have always wanted. This design is classic and modern at the same time which really sets it apart.

The kit will be in production shortly – We hope to be using Santini cycle clothing, as only the best will do!
